Get yourself to one of Portsmouth’s markets for a huge selection of quality, locally made products. There are regular farmers’ markets selling raw ingredients for you to rustle up a storm yourself, or ready-made meals for you to enjoy on the go.

Additionally, there are local and craft markets, selling homewares, trinkets and gifts that you won’t find anywhere else. It’s the perfect way to supplement your shopping trip, and to get a taste of authentic Portsmouth – instead of just sticking to the big-name High Street brands.

A regular market takes place along the city centre's Commercial Road every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 9am to 4.30pm. It offers street food, gifts, clothing, hardware, flowers and fresh produce.

Meanwhile, up on Cosham Precinct you'll find its weekly market taking place each Monday (except Bank Holidays), also between 9am and 4.30pm. There are plants, clothing, hardware and fresh produce to browse and buy.
