Visit the impressive Victorian buildings, which showcase the marvels of Victorian engineering. Get up close to some impressive machines – some of which date back to 1887 – and have been restored to their original condition.

Both the Beam and Gas Engine Houses are open on the last Sunday of every month (except August and December). The Beam Engine House is open 10am to 3pm (last admission 2.30pm) and the Gas Engine House is open 10am to 12.30pm (last admission 12pm).
