One Mer rapid chargepoint available. You’ll need the Mer app, which is available on Google Play and App Store.
There is no charge for parking, but drivers can only stay for two hours to allow other EV owners to charge their vehicles when needed.

Six PodPoint chargepoints available. You’ll need the PodPoint app, which is available on Google Play and App Store.

There is no charge for parking, but there are limitations on how long vehicles can remain parked.
Portsmouth City Council took the decision to switch off all on-street charging points in the city in late November, following safety concerns raised by Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN). However, a first tranche of 12 charging points has now been reinstated and is available to use. It’s hoped the next phase of chargepoints will be reactivated soon.

Follow the police advice and do what you can to avoid being a victim of vehicle crime. Don't leave any valuable items or important documentation in your vehicle - take them with you! This includes Sat Navs - don't lock them in the glove compartment it's the first place thieves will look. Keep any items you do leave behind out of sight, closing blinds / screens in camper vans.
