You are here: Visitor Information > Water refill stations
If you're out for the day exploring Portsmouth you'll need to stay hydrated - especially during the warm summer months when you may be out in the sunshine for some time.
Thankfully, there are many places across the city offering free water bottle refills - whether you're a customer or not.
There are five public water fountains along the seafront:
Clarence Esplanade (by the Hovertravel terminal)
Duisburg Way (on the main footway between the Seafront Esplanade Car Park and the Queens Hotel)
Outside the Pyramids Centre
South Parade (opposite Canoe Lake)
Eastney Esplanade (by Eastney Toilets)
Many other places also offer free refills - such as The D-Day Story and Portsmouth Museum and Art Gallery. Simply head to reception during opening times with your re-usable bottle.
Portsmouth International Port also has water refill points throughout the terminal, which are available for both passengers and the public to use.
A huge number of businesses, attractions and visitor centres have signed up to the Refill programme. For a full list of places to top up your water bottle on the go or to use the handy map, download the Refill app, which is available on both Apple and Android devices.
