A young child learning an instrument with their teacher.

About

Join Portsmouth Historic Dockyard for a unique, hands-on musical adventure set within one of the National Museum of the Royal Navy's galleries!

Tables of musical instruments will be displayed throughout the space, each hosted by a music teacher ready to guide you in exploring different instrument families. There will be brass, woodwind, strings and more!

Adding to the excitement, each music teacher will be joined by a Royal Marines musician, who will not only perform but also share fascinating insights into their role in military music.
