Orchard Apartment is well situated for access to both the city of Portsmouth and the attractions of Southsea. It is in a residential street but only 500 metres from Fratton Station, where you can hop on a train to London, Brighton, Winchester and Chichester. The train is also the perfect way to reach Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Old Portsmouth - which are all serviced by Portsmouth Harbour Station two stops and only 5 minutes away.

This first floor apartment blends modern and traditional styles and has some original features, as well as all mod cons. It is clean and well equipped, ensuring your comfort for a long or short stay. It has two bedrooms, a living room and a well equipped kitchen. There is free on-street parking in front of the apartment and a garden view at the rear.

For entertainment, there is Southsea beach (with its 6km promenade) around 3km to the south. Then there's Old Portsmouth, with its historic charm, artists' open studios and stunning views over the mouth of Portsmouth Harbour. In Portsmouth Historic Dockyard are world-famous historic ships; one of the biggest tourist attractions in the UK.

Shoppers are well catered for. Southsea's Albert Road is the place to go for fashionable independent boutiques, craft ale pubs, wine bars and independent restaurants from many cultures. Gunwharf Quays offers a multitude of designer outlet stores and global eateries, as well as plenty of evening entertainment. Commercial Road has department stores and Cascades indoor mall, as well as a traditional market on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Southsea centre offers a more refined experience with regular farmers' and craft markets.

Each bedroom has a pair of zip and link beds, so either singles or super king doubles for your stay. The beds are super-comfortable with a memory foam topper to ensure a good nights sleep. Pillows and duvets are anti-allergy, bed linens are 100% cotton. There are extra blankets available in winter.

Each bedroom has a generous sized desk with a lamp, and the work chairs are leather faced and comfortable to work in all day. The living room has a double sofa bed, an internet SMART TV and a selection of books. Housed in a cupboard are iron and ironing board as well as instruction manuals for all the appliances. There is a dining table for 4, plus a kitchen that's well equipped beyond the expected pots, pans, cutlery and crockery.

There is a dishwasher, large washer/dryer and a Nespresso coffee machine. There is a picnic backpack and beach towels for expeditions, whilst shopping bags and cleaning materials are freely available. The bathroom is neat and clean with a shower over the bath. Toiletries and toilet roll are provided for your convenience. Bath towels, hand towels and face cloths are also included.
