About
Natty’s Jerk is a community-led Jamaican food experience feeding hungry bellies along the South Coast. It's specifically called a food experience because it’s about so much more than the food on the plate. Natty's wants to share the tastes, stories and culture of the Caribbean.
At Natty's it’s not just about serving food; it’s about creating a space where culture, passion, and togetherness blend seamlessly. The team has embarked on a mission to not only introduce the UK to the authentic taste of the Caribbean but also to foster a sense of community. From hosting local events and cultural festivals to participating in charity drives, it firmly believes in giving back and growing together.
Back in 2017 Natty's Jerk started from the owner's home in Portsmouth. This grew to a market stall on Commercial Road, before taking up residence in the current home opposite Portsmouth & Southsea Railway Station. There's also a Natty's Jerk in Bournemouth and more planned for elsewhere on the South Coast.
Today, Natty's is famed for its modern twist on Jamaican cuisine. It has even been named the best takeaway in the South East by Uber Eats, going on to represent the region in the national awards.
Book your table to enjoy traditional Caribbean flavors, where authentic jerk seasoning is brought to every dish. Not only is Natty's committed to the highest quality (sourcing fresh, ethically-produced ingredients for an unmatched taste), it's also dedicated to sustainability - reducing the restaurant's environmental footprint while enhancing the dining experience.
The chefs are constantly innovating, blending traditional techniques with modern twists to create unforgettable culinary experiences.
All this is to create a vibrant, joyful atmosphere that turns every meal into a festive Caribbean celebration.
