The UK’s largest fast-casual Mexican restaurant brand is now open at Gunwharf Quays.

Tortilla's Gunwharf Quays restaurant is the brand's 50th; its 799 sq ft unit being located in Spinnaker Quarter overlooking the waterfront and with incredible views towards the Isle of Wight.

Seating up to 40 people across one floor with both inside and outside tables, Tortilla will be open for eat in, takeaway and delivery, and is the brand's first to open in Portsmouth.

Founded in 2007, Tortilla offers customers a high-quality and affordable California-style Mexican menu. Tortilla freshly prepares all food and offers Vegan/Vegetarian Society and Halal Food Authority-approved options year-round. Its food is also fully customisable, with options for every customer’s preferences, from protein and salads to a wide array of fresh salsas.

Tortilla operates more than 50 eat in and take away locations across the UK and through nationwide partnerships with Deliveroo, SSP Group plc and Compass Group UK & Ireland. Internationally, Tortilla operates in the Middle East, with 10 stores in Dubai and Saudi Arabia through an exclusive franchise partnership.

Food provenance and quality is a critical component of Tortilla's proposition. All fillings for its burritos, tacos and quesadillas are prepared in-house and toppings are prepared fresh daily, free from artificial flavours or preservatives. In 2021, the brand served more than 5.7 million mains.
