The John Pounds Centre is a fantastic facility for hosting conferences, events, exhibitions, meetings and training sessions - as well as a whole host of sporting activities - for up to 350 attendees.

The centre offers two conference hall facilities - the Main Hall which facilitates up to 250 delegates and the Small Hall which is suitable for up to 100. These can also be combined to accommodate 350 delegates. Additionally there are a variety of meeting rooms that seat up to 40 delegates, plus breakout rooms and a fully equipped IT suite. Each space has been designed to be warm, bright, modern and spacious - meaning your delegates can feel comfortable throughout, both during the meetings and when exploring the centre and its grounds.

Conference facilities are all located on the same level, making access smooth and easy to navigate. The centre is accessible, with hearing loops and disabled toilet/changing facilities on both floors. The café is open daily and will help shape the right catering options for your day. Rooms have Audio Visual equipment provided and any additions can be easily sourced. Plus, amenities such as the café and toilets facilities are all close by.

With flexible rooms and rates, each booking can be tailored to specific budgets - meaning you don't pay extra for what you don't need or won't use.

The John Pounds Centre is centrally located, just minutes from the City Centre and easily accessed by public transport. Parking is available nearby for a minimal daily rate. Further travel information for organisers and delegates alike can be provided by the Events Team to ensure journeys and arrivals are kept stress free.

Rest assured that your conference or meeting at the John Pounds Centre will run efficiently, as the team's Events Manager will be on hand throughout the process to ensure everything is a success, from the very first day you book. The Events Team can advise on the rooms that best suit individual needs and take organisers through the various set up options available. They will then be in regular contact and can remain flexible right up to the big day.

The setup you will have agreed will be in place for when you arrive for the event, and the team will be on hand to support any last-minute changes to ensure everything goes smoothly.
