The centre’s diverse offering includes RYA courses, holiday clubs, instructor training, private tuition and taster sessions, as well as hosting school, group and corporate trips. The activities offered at ASC Portsmouth include sailing, windsurfing, winging, foiling, powerboating, paddle sports and land-based activities such as climbing, archery and team building games.

ASC Portsmouth is part of the Andrew Simpson Foundation. Founded in 2014, the Andrew Simpson Foundation (ASF) was inspired by Olympic Gold and Silver medallist Andrew ‘Bart’ Simpson MBE. The foundation's mission is to transform lives through sailing. Absolutely everything it does is driven by the belief that all young people can excel and succeed in life and work. The challenges of sailing and watersports do this by promoting health and wellbeing whilst building essential life skills. These skills then enable young people to progress through education and into work.
