About
The King George V Football Complex is a multi-million-pound sports hub that offers two 3G pitches, six grass pitches and a pavilion featuring changing rooms, a café, multi-use rooms and social space.
Opened thanks to a £4.4 million grant from the Premier League, The FA and Government’s Football Foundation, alongside £3.7 million from Portsmouth City Council, the complex is home for several local grassroots clubs including Meon Milton FC, City Ladies FC, Fleur De Lys FC, Baffins Milton FC, East Lodge FC and Paulsgrove FC - which run a combined total of some 120 teams.
Hampshire FA and Pompey in The Community (PITC) also use the site to run several community programmes, including walking football, Man v Fat, Premier League Kicks, female turn up and play sessions, Positive Activities and disability sessions.
Car parking is provided at the site, for both the football hub and the public open space. It's also just a short walk from bus stops and Cosham railway station.
