Located in the quiet and rural northwest end of Portsmouth Harbour, WicorMarine is a haven for yachtsmen looking to escape the hustle and bustle. It offers walk-ashore and traditional mid-river pontoon moorings for around 150 boats, along with lifting and storage facilities.

A short 30 minute cruise up the harbour will bring you to the Solent, where day trips to the Isle of Wight, Chichester or Southampton (or cruises further afield) can be enjoyed.

Wicor is situated roughly midway between Fareham and Portchester. Walkers can enjoy an amble from Fareham town centre, around Cams Hill golf course, along the eastern side of Fareham Creek along the waterfront and onwards to Portchester Castle.

The boatyard is home to the incredibly popular Salt Cafe, open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch, with great coffee and delicious cakes (vegan and gluten free options available). Dogs and walkers are welcome. The cafe is licensed, so you can enjoy a beer or glass of wine on the deck while taking in views of the harbour. The Paddle Club, located by the slipway, hires out sit-on kayaks and standup paddle boards (SUPs) by the hour - the perfect way to explore the harbour! Session dates and start times depend on the tide and up-to-the-minute availability can be seen at thepaddleclub.co.uk. All ages and abilities are welcome.

The Salt Cabin provides luxury accommodation for visitors, nestled on the foreshore with fabulous views from its living room and private deck. Bookings can be made here.

The owners' beautiful 28 ft classic, varnished teak sailing yacht 'Amble' is also available to stay aboard.
