Poster for The Most Perilous Comedie of Elizabeth I

About

The Three Inch Fools present a largely historical, always hysterical, brand new Tudor comedie!

Taking place within the glorious Walled Garden at Stansted Park, this show is a brand-new Tudor musical romp in which Good Queen Bess takes to the stage herself. Will it be the making of this heroine or spell the beginning of her downfall?

The stage is set for regicidal rivalries, devious dramatics, and plotting playwrights. Beset by misunderstandings and a script that, let's just say needs some work... this production promises to be largely historical, always hysterical.

As the old saying goes…thy show must go-eth on!

A host of five-star reviews have called the group's performances:
"So entertaining…laugh-out-loud funny"
"One of the best Shakespeare plays I'll ever watch" (The Bristol Post)
"The ultimate British theatrical experience" (Hastings Independent Press)
"Riotously fun. Hugely enjoyable"

Take your own cushions, and camping-chairs and join in this open-air adventure. Be prepared for all weather - the performance will continue come rain come shine!

Additional notes:

This is an outdoor performance. Organisers recommend attendees bring blankets/chairs/cushions etc. to sit on. Be prepared for the weather with warm coats and waterproofs etc, as the performance will continue come rain come shine! Please don't take umbrellas as these can obscure the view for other people in the audience. Advance booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
