About
The Lodge at Solent is a coastal-themed retreat packed full of character. Its rooms are all spacious, light and airy, with a contemporary coastal twist as a nod to the beautiful south coast. Guests will find all they need for a great stay, and a continental breakfast is included in the room rate. However, anyone waking up in need of something more substantial can always pop next door to Parson’s Collar Pub & Kitchen.
Family rooms offer a double or twin room with an additional sofa bed which will accommodate up to two children under the ages of 12, or one child under 16. There are a selection of interconnecting rooms available.
The Lodge at Solent has three dog-friendly rooms, complimentary bike hire, a cosy pub with an ice cream parlour and take away pizzas available.
It's the perfect place to explore - whether that’s a visit to the beautiful Titchfield Abbey or a bit of boulder climbing with the children at the Red Spider Climbing Centre. Plus, Hill Head beach is only a 15-minute drive away and the New Forest is on the doorstep. Guests could even take a ferry to the neighbouring Isle of Wight and explore all it has to offer, or head into the city centre at Portsmouth, for shopping a visit to the coast and plenty of independent eateries.
After a tiring day out, return to the lodge and tuck into a mouth-watering burger off the grill or one of the popular wood-fired pizzas, with a beer or glass of wine, before sinking into bed.
