The Friends of Portsdown Hill host an AGM, which will be followed by an account of events and progress in managing the hill, given by Portsmouth City Council Countryside Officer Richard Jones.

The objectives of the Friends of Portsdown Hill are:
to preserve the character, wildlife and recreational value of the geographic unit of Portsdown Hill
to promote the general public awareness and understanding of the countryside of Portsdown Hill
to support the Portsdown Hill Countryside Service
to do all such lawful things as shall further the attainment of the above objects

The Friends shall be non political.

Membership is open to all those supporting these objectives; subscription is currently £5 per annum.

The AGM takes place at the Church of the Resurrection Hall, Brecon Avenue at 7.30pm. Admission is free.
