About
The City of Portsmouth Preserved Transport Depot will be throwing open its doors for visitors to see up-close the work undertaken to maintain and restore its heritage buses.
A registered charity, the CPPTD aims is to conserve and preserve artefacts relating to road passenger transport in Southern England.
Why not go along and view the collection - including the last Horndean Tram and the first Portsmouth Trollybus.
Please note there is no parking available at the depot but there will be a free bus service running from Cosham Bus Station starting at 10.15am, via Portchester Precinct, where parking is available.
On the same day Cosham Community Centre is hosting a model tramway and talks about the Portsmouth Trams.
The buses will be making an additional stop near the Community Centre so that visitors can go to both venues if they wish.
