About

The natural world is changing at an ever quickening speed. In this talk, John Goodspeed will look at species which used to be familiar in southeast Hampshire at the end of the last century but which are now scarce or rare. This is often due to factors like climate change and loss of habitat as well as pollution and the industrialisation of agriculture. Fortunately there are also many species which we now take for granted which were once exciting, and we will look at some of them - flowers, butterflies and of course birds.

John Goodspeed is a well-known local naturalist who runs the website www.havantnature.net.

Admission includes light refreshments after the talk.
