Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon

This 1942 film, the fourth of the fourteen Sherlock Holmes films made starring Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce is based upon Conan Doyle's The Story of the Dancing Men.

Basil Rathbone (13th June 1892 to 21st July 1967) was a South African born English actor who appeared in more than 70 films and was a renowned Shakespearian actor. Nigel Bruce was a British character actor on stage and screen. He was best known for his portrayal of Dr Watson in films and in the radio series The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. He died in 1953.
