The Strand Magazine

The Strand Magazine was a British monthly magazine published from January 1891 to March 1950. There were 711 issues in its original version. The Strand Magazine was also published in the United States from February 1891 to February 1916 but sometimes with different content.

The magazine was revived as a quarterly magazine in 1998 in America.

Arthur Conan Doyle was a huge contributor with novels, short stories, poems and articles and Study in Scarlet was first published here in 1898.
