Young Sherlock Holmes

This is the poster for the Italian version of Stephen Spielberg's Young Sherlock Holmes.

In this 1985 film a teenage Sherlock Holmes (Nicholas Rowe) meets and befriends his future sidekick, the bemused and bespectacled, John Watson (Alan Cox). During their first term at boarding school a series of unexplained deaths occur. Intrigued, Holmes investigates and soon comes to suspect a poisonous hallucinogen is at large. Then, in the midst of their investigation, Holmes and Watson stumble on a bizarre cult with a penchant for human sacrifice from which they must struggle to escape.
